MJA-Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP-ADVANCED) Preparation course for CIDB assessment -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ​ Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP-ADVANCED) in collaboration with Certified Training Centre Mega Jati Academy offering preparation courses for CIDB competency assessment (Level 4, Level 5 and Level 6). The candidate is STRICTLY reminded to make sure that minimum CIDB requirement for assessment method II / method III is COMPLIED. ​​​ The preparation course is merely to provide 7-days of intensive training through questions drill, tips and tricks to be able to perform well during assessment.

Course & Assessment Venue

• Courses will be held online and your location can be anywhere, everywhere possible.
• Assessment venue would be at your preferable CIDB state office's location.

CIDB Accreditation Requirements

Online Learning Requirement

You will need regular access to a computer with an internet connection. High speed broadband access (LAN, Cable or DSL) is highly recommended for the optimal learning experience.

Course Fee

Please refer to the courses catalog and fees in this page. The fee would range from RM1,550 to RM2,300 per person per assessment.

Teaching Mode and Assessment

The teaching and learning mode is presented entirely in lecture, discussion, presentation, site visit, tutorial, workshop and other relevant teaching and learning methods, either as face-to-face, online, hybrid or TOTAL LMS. Reading materials

All reading materials for this course will be made accessible to you through the lecture/course day. Notes for each module are often email or shared through given google drive link or provided in the LMS.

Project Manager, Construction Manager, Professional Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Site Supervisor, Inspector of Work, Clerk of Work, Young Engineers, facility managers, building managers and related construction personnel from Main Contractor, Sub-Contractor, Developer, Consultant, PMC who wish to establish your career path. Please ensure your eligibility to CIDB assessment before enroll.

Regulatory requirement

The Competency-Based Programmes (Accreditation Programme) are driven by the ACT520 Akta Lembaga Pembangunan Industri Pembinaan Malaysia (Pindaan 2011) referring to Part VII Registration, Accreditation, Certification and Training of Construction Personnel, Accreditation and certification of the construction site supervisor and skilled construction worker, Section 33A(1) ​ - No construction site supervisor or skilled construction worker shall be involved or engaged or undertake to be involved or engaged as a construction site supervisor or skilled construction worker unless he is accredited and certified by the Lembaga and holds a valid certificate issued by the Lembaga under this Act.

Certification

• Certificate of Attendande from MJA, and
• Transcript from CIDB (for COMPETENT and NOT YET COMPETENT), and/or
• Sijil Kompetensi Kemahiran Pembinaan (SKKP) Level 4 for Construction Site Supervisor (CSS)
• Sijil Kompetensi Kemahiran Pembinaan (SKKP) Level 4 for Construction Traffic Management Officer (CTMO)
• Sijil Kompetensi Kemahiran Pembinaan (SKKP) Level 4 for Facility Management Executive (FME)
• Sijil Kompetensi Kemahiran Pembinaan (SKKP) Level 5 for Facility Management Manager (FMM)
• Sijil Kompetensi Kemahiran Pembinaan (SKKP) Level 5 for Construction Manager (CCM)
• Sijil Kompetensi Kemahiran Pembinaan (SKKP) Level 6 for Construction Project Manager (CCPM)

CPD/CCD points

• 35 CCD CIDB points from MJA and CIDB State Office
• 11 CPD MBOT points from MJA

Intake Info

The preparation course is tailor made to CIDB annual set assessment date. CIDB will be having five (5) times of assessment setting per year. The intake would be in Feb / May / July / September / November every year. Application link is OPEN everyday.

Program duration

• 10 to 12 months programs

Malaysian Board of Technologist (MBOT)

• Register as Tc. with MBOT for whom who are accredited with CIDB Competency Level 4
• Register as Ts. with MBOT for whom who are accredited with CIDB Competency Level 5 and Level 6
